CLEVELAND – Charter One today announced that Ndeda Letson will join the bank as Vice President, Director of Community Investment for Ohio. She is responsible for developing and strengthening the bank’s strategic community development initiatives and providing oversight of all initiatives related to Charter One’s Community Reinvestment program efforts, including lending, service and community investments.
Letson brings Charter One a successful 10-year track record in community investment and revitalization while working in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Most recently, Letson was the Assistant Director of Real Estate Development for University Circle Inc. and Vice President of Development for University Circle New Markets, Inc. During Letson’s six year tenure, she secured and managed nearly $25 million in public/private financing and operating revenues to support neighborhood reinvestment initiatives.
Letson has a Master of Urban Planning, Design and Development from Cleveland State University and a B.A. from Baldwin-Wallace College. She is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women of Cleveland, The Cleveland Foundation’s African American Philanthropy Committee and the Future Connections Advisory Board.
