Reverend Joshua DuBois, Special Assistant to President Barack Obama and Director of the White House Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partner-ships, will be the Keynote  speaker at the Christian Business League's "Faith and Finance" Breakfast on Friday, March  9th from 7:30-9:15 a.m. at the A. Charles Bowie Educational Center of East Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Over 200 clergy, business people and entrepreneurs are expected to attend.  Reverend Dubois' topic will be, "Faith and Finance."
In his current White House position, Reverend DuBois oversees a council of 25 influential religious and nonprofit leaders and scholars.  His office is charged with helping such groups improve their communities, by aiding in economic recovery, promoting interfaith dialogue and cooperation, and taking steps to strengthen at-risk American families.  In announcing DuBois' appointment, President Obama said, "Joshua understands the issues at stake, knows the people involved, and will be able to bring everyone together - from both the secular and faith-based communities, from academia and politics - around our common goals."

"At PNC, we are committed to supporting efforts that make our communities better places to live and work," said Michael J. Taylor, executive vice president of Community Development at PNC.  "Reverend DuBois' address will provide valuable perspectives on harnessing the power of our own strong faith-based community to positively impact the economic development efforts in our neighborhoods,"
The Christian Business League was formed with the mission, "to serve as a Faith Based organization, using a collaborative approach to community-wide economic development and empowerment."  PNC Bank is the "Signature Sponsor" along with co-sponsors COSE and JumpStart Inc.  Tickets are available at Mt. Zion Congregational Church, 216-791-5760.  The A. Charles Bowie Educational Center is located at 9990 Euclid Avenue.
