The Christian Business League was formed with the mission, “to serve as a Faith Based organization,
President and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Cleveland, Marsha Mockabee, will be the guest speaker at the Christian Business League’s “Faith and Finance” Breakfast on Friday, September 14th from 7:30-8:59 a.m. at the Greenmont Party Center.
Over 100 business people and entrepreneurs are expected to attend.
Mockabee’s topic will be “21st Century Strategies: The Interconnection of Youth, Community and Economic Development.”
Mockabee became president & CEO of the Urban League of Greater Cleveland in 2010.
She is the first female to hold this position at the Cleveland affiliate.
In this role, she leads an agenda empowering African-Americans to develop and exercise their potential on par with all other Americans through education, research, advocacy and provision of services. In July of 2011, she was recognized at the National Urban League Conference as an Outstanding Newcomer CEO.
In February 2012, Mockabee completed an African-American Leadership mission to Beijing, China. Most recently, she was recognized by Crain’s Cleveland Business Women of Note.
