First Federal Lakewood names Lee Fields, vice president, community development manager

LAKEWOOD - First Federal Lakewood ann-ounced the hiring of Lee Fields as Vice President, Community Development Manager.  In this position, Fields will work closely with the members of the community, city staff officials, businesses, community leaders and non-profit organizations to identify and assist the needs of Greater Cleveland residents. 
 
"We are fortunate to have Lee Fields take on this role to help us support the growth of our communities," said, Thomas J. Fraser, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of First Federal Lakewood.  "Fields experience and leadership will be instrumental in supporting these initiatives." 
 
As the Vice President, Community Development Manager, Fields will reinforce First Federal Lakewood's commitment to offer quality service and support to individuals and families in Northeast Ohio by providing affordable home ownership opportunities.
 
Fields brings over twenty years of experience to the position including holding executive positions at Cleveland financial institutions and Community Relations Management roles for both Cleveland Metropolitan School District and most recently, Cleveland Housing Network.  
 
"I am very excited to join First Federal Lakewood and contribute to the bank's mission, vision and values and will work to strengthen the relationships that have been established between First Federal Lakewood and its community neighbors." 
 
A Cleveland native, Fields is a graduate of The University of Toledo where he received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.  He has served as a board member of several community development corporations and actively involved in community-based organizations and non-profit organizations.  He is also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and 100 Black Men of Greater Cleveland.
