TV Review: ‘Basketball Wives’ – Episode Eight

To Madrid we go! This week the Basketball Wives, Shaunie O’Neal, Royce Reed, Evelyn Lazada, Jennifer Williams, and Tammi Roman headed for what they thought would be a much needed and relaxing vacation. As we well know, that was not going to happen with these ladies!

After arriving to Madrid Royce Reed came down with some kind of illness that made her skin hurt. “Debbie Downer” was the name the other ladies gave her and it fit perfect. She complained and whined the majority of her television time.

After complaining about being so sick, she still went out with the ladies to a fashion show for the Madrid fashion week, only to sit in the front row with her face turned up as each outfit went down the runway.

When confronted by the women as to why she even came to Madrid, Royce basically replied, “You paying, I’m going,”

Next order of drama commenced when Tammi decided to pick a fight with Evelyn because she thought she rolled her eyes. Wait, how old are these women? Moving on. Tammi and Evelyn got into a screaming match on the sidewalk in Madrid.

Shaunie O’Neal took Tammi out for a walk and talked to her about what went down. Oddly enough, when Tammi took a few stabs at Evelyn, Shaunie laughed and instigated as opposed to defending her friend Evelyn. So who of these women are truly loyal friends?

Later on in the program, Tammi apologized to Evelyn and admitted that she might have had things misconstrued. So off they went to the bullfight where Evelyn and Jennifer could not bare to watch the bull get killed and Tammi stayed to watch the action.

Jennifer Williams was ready to “dust off the cobwebs,” as the ladies put it, and she met a man in Madrid that owned a watch company. After inviting him to a party later on that night, Evelyn asked him if he was married and he confessed that his wife was at home.

Seems like that would have been the first question Jennifer would have asked.

More drama to come next week in Madrid.
