This week on “Basketball Wives,” we join the women still in Madrid Spain full of drama.
The ladies go to a wine bar to dish it out with Royce aka Debbie Downer. Shaunie expresses her displeasure with Royce’s party pooper attitude. When asked why she even came on the trip, Royce responded, “You paying, I’m going.” Royce makes it clear she is not going to give up a free trip!
To divert attention off of herself Royce conveniently brings up the fact that Suzie told her that Jen said Tammi was ‘messy.” He said, she said, they said, always makes for a great diversion. Tammi and Jen are heated. Jen makes it clear, over and over, that she did not say what she was accused of. Tammi makes it clear that she will have words with Susie.
After all this, the ladies decide that it was ‘therapeutic’ to have this conversation, and on their way they go.
Next we see the ladies at Madrid’s oldest restaurant. It seems as though they are barely enjoying the meal when their server brings them a gift, a whole cooked baby pig.
Yes, I said a whole pig, head and all!
The ladies are clearly in dismay seeing this pig on their table. Tammi holds back throwing up and Jen covers her face with a napkin. Evelyn takes matters in her own hands and takes the pig back to the server. To which he then brings it back to their table and cuts off the head with a knife. After he leaves the table, the ladies cover the pig with a napkin and leave the restaurant.
Next, an emotional moment happens between Jen and the ladies when she starts crying about her divorce. The ladies gather around her and are quite supportive in that moment.
They then go to another restaurant and watch flamingo dancers perform. Of course, Royce is pulled on stage and she politely shows her moves – in a good way this time.
When the ladies get back to the states, Evelyn and Jen have drinks together and Evelyn expresses how she does not like how Royce plays the middle with everyone. She also notes that she is unsure about Ashley and Rafer Alston’s relationship. She doesn’t know whether Ashley is the mistress, baby-momma, girlfriend or what. We all know Evelyn will make it her mission to find out.
Royce meets with Susie to let her know that she threw her under the bus while they were in Madrid at the wine bar. Susie replies that she does not care because she is not in their circle.
Royce’s dad and brother pay her a visit and have barbequed oven cooked food? Yeah, Royce cooked. At any rate, this gave Royce’s family an opportunity to meet her boyfriend Dwayne and find out his intentions. He assures them that his intentions are good and that they are happy.
Ashley and Rafer Alston visit Eveyln’s shoe store and seem very much a happy couple.
Rafer buys Ashley a $1,155 pair of shoes. Ashley states that she’s glad. Evelyn finally got to see them together. Now she knows they are really together.
Royce’s boyfriend Dwayne takes her to look at rings and Royce finds her favorite which costs $95,000. Needless to say, they did not leave the store with the ring.
Tammi confronts Suzie about telling Royce that she was a mess and as always, Susie apologizes and makes excuses that she was just trying to look out for her friend.
Tammi lets her have it and Susie politely leaves before things get out of hand. You never know when it comes to Tammi! I can’t blame Susie for high tailing it out of there!
