Shaunie O’Neal just happened to be in New York this episode as well. Shaunie was trying her best to make Tami pull the reins on her pit bull attitude towards Evelyn.

This week on Basketball Wives, Evelyn Lozanda takes her daughter to New York to look at some colleges. Evelyn is still trying to get her daughter to go to school in New York where they have family as opposed to California. But like mother, like daughter, Evelyn’s daughter has her mind set on attending college in California.

Not only did this trip to New York help Evelyn see the light as far as her daughter was concerned, but it also gave Evelyn and her father an opportunity to mend some old wounds. While visiting her mother, Evelyn expresses how hurt she has been that her father was not around when she was growing up.

Jennifer Williams was also in New York to finish up divorce proceedings with her ex-husband, Eric Williams. While in New York, Meeka Claxton and her husband Speedy Claxton, met up with Jennifer to introduce her to one their friends for a blind date. It was clear that Jennifer was quite uncomfortable being in the dating scene again, but she made it through. The guy she met was nice on the eyes to say the least, but we’ll have to wait and see if this was match or not. I can’t see how Meeka could possibly know the kind of man that Jennifer is attracted to, seeing as how Meeka does not know Jennifer that well. But again, I am not a fan of Meeka, so almost anything that she does at this point rubs me the wrong way!

Tami was in New York to check on her daughters’ singing career. To her surprise, her daughters cut her loose as their manager and hired their cousin without letting Tami know. Tami of course is heated and doesn’t understand. Her daughters make it clear that she brings a lot of drama to their careers. Of course Tami is in shock because she doesn’t see it! But in the end, she accepts it and wants what’s best for her daughters.

Shaunie O’Neal just happened to be in New York this episode as well. Shaunie was trying her best to make Tami pull the reins on her pit bull attitude towards Evelyn. Tami decides that she will do her best to make amends with Evelyn.

Tami, Evelyn, Shaunie, and Jennifer meet up together for drinks and the peace treaty begins. Tami tells Evelyn that she understands that there is money involved in the infamous, “You’re a non….. factor,” t-shirts. But what she would like to suggest is that Evelyn sell her last batch and end any further sales of these shirts. Surprisingly, Evelyn agrees and her and Tami are back to being friends again. Not sure how long this will last, but it’s nice for now.
