Welcome to the Counselor's Desk
Q. What is the Counselor’s Desk?
A. The Counselor’s Desk is a weekly forum for fielding and responding to legal issues, comments and concerns. The Desk is open to the community and each week the Counselor will address a specific question asked by the readers of the Call & Post. The Counselor will cover any issue or question raised whether it relates to business, an invention, copyright, trademark and other IP, family matters and divorce, traffic violations and criminal matters, civil litigation, tax, personal injury or any other.
The Counselor hopes to break down the barriers to just results created by fear and ignorance of the law, financial and psychological pressures, and social circumstances and other influences. The Counselor intends to cultivate knowledge of the law by educating the public each week and furthering the community’s understanding of and confidence in the rule of law and the justice system. The Counselor is mindful of the deficiencies in the administration of the justice and of the fact that certain members of our community may not always have access to adequate legal assistance, whether for criminal, civil, business-related or other matters. While, the Counselor’s Desk does not provide legal advice, and readers are not to rely on the column, the Desk is intended to (a) provide some level of guidance and understanding as readers work through their issues and(b) empower readers, as well. Flatly, we are here to help.
The Counselor’s Desk is comprised of a team of competent and diligent legal professionals. The Counselor and his supporting team are dedicated to you, the community served by the law, and the preservation of your access to justice. The Counselor will continue to devote professional time and resources to service above self. Please take advantage of the offer to help.
The Call & Post continues its long tradition of providing vital resources and passing along the good word to the community through the Counselor’s Desk.
Readers of the Call & Post are invited to submit their legal questions to the Counselor via email at counselor@call-post.com.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Be well. Godspeed.
