Just like the internet caused trouble people trying to work, some employers had to remove Facebook because of all the people going on there instead of doing their regular assigned jobs.
Technology has changed our lives
Have you been looking at how much the electronic age has evolved?
I remember when computer’s hit the scene and everybody fell in love with them. I was one of those people, who would rush home from work and sit on the computer until 2 or 3 in the morning.
Now the bad part of this was, back then we had to pay by the minutes, way before unlimited plans. I just had to be in the chat room meeting people from other cities. It was something I enjoyed.
Now, if you laughing at me and my addiction back then, can you imagine all the people who lost their jobs and marriages to the internet? People would not go to work because they wanted to be on the internet.
It was a great tool for meeting woman/men and even starting relationships that also led to many divorces. Just when some got that under control then arrived the computer in the form of your cell phone.
Well, I know it’s not really a computer but it is working its way toward it. Most banks and other corporations bought their employees Blackberries when they came on the scene. With this phone, not only could you talk, you could get your emails from anywhere at any time.
The arrival of Apple’s iPhone ensured that palmtop business computing wouldn’t be far behind. The web browser and addition of an App Store to the iPhone proved that usable business computing devices could be much smaller than the laptop.
This has made the smartphone market one of the brightest places in the technology world this year and opens up a new front for software developers both commercial and enterprise as users demand access to their business data and functionality from their phones.
Expect to see a growing focus on business software for mobile devices increase throughout the fall.
I think Steve Jobs said, ok I have designed the phone with an iPad and other great applications but this is so small. Next the iPad was created to add a new dimension and a bigger model.
And now you are actually touching your photos, reading a book, and playing the piano on these devises. To provide an even better hands on experience, they made the fundamental elements of iPad better with a bigger display, a great camera, and the wireless connection.
All of which makes the new, iPad capable of so much more than you ever imagined.
Technology with its rapid growing speed is influencing old ways of doing daily affairs. We don’t need anymore to move around to handle different tasks and chores since all of them will be done in a matter of pushing a button located on a mouse.
Nobody can deny that technology has brought comfort to our lives, but most of us must confess that technology by itself has got a lot of deficits that in long term will cause a lot of side effects either physically or emotionally.
This is a fact that through the multi-media and the wide spread range of web (Internet) the concept of time and distance have been vanished and people can keep in touch with each other by means of such facilities.
Technology is ever changing with all the new gadgets that come out on a regular basis. Being a child, I use to think the watch Dick Tracey had was so cool and something of the future. The future is here. They have home telephones that allow you to see the other person and Skype is a tool that internet users love.
As I see people immersing themselves in social technology, I am reminded how I was when the internet was my passion in the early 80’s. Are you tweeting all the time? Blogging every thought? Keeping up with every discussion about a hot topic? If this is your full-time job, you’re like the many fans who landed the jobs in publishing area like me.
Facebook became a tool for people all over the world. In early 2004, Mark Zuckerberg gave birth to Facebook. At that time, Zuckerberg was a sophomore at Harvard University. The name for Facebook came from the publications that some colleges pass out to students at the beginning of the year to help students get to know each other better, called a Facebook.
Facebook was created as a way for Zuckerberg and other Harvard students to keep in touch over the Internet and get to know each other better. Facebook became so popular, in just a matter of months, that is was soon opened to other colleges.
By the end of the following year, it was also open to high schools. The year after that it was opened to the general Internet public, as long as you were 13 and older.
Now people go on Facebook to not only chat but play games like Farmville, Cityville, and Mafia Wars to name a few. Over time, Facebook has added many new features to their website. You’ll now find a news feed, more privacy features, Facebook notes, the ability to add images to your blog and comments, importing other blogs into Facebook, instant messaging, and much more.
Also, new apps are born on Facebook every day.
Just like the internet caused trouble people trying to work, some employers had to remove Facebook because of all the people going on there instead of doing their regular assigned jobs.
The evolution of all these devices and internet apps has become very critical to ones daily life. One great highlight I have noticed with Facebook, it has a way of connecting you to old school friends whom you probably have not seen in over 10 to 20 years.
