Circus Elephants paraded thru Cleveland

Two_African_Elephants_Walking_-_408001The Ringling Bros. Animal Walk started around 6:30 a.m. at the Muni Lot, and it went down East 9th Street to Bolivar and ended at Quicken Loans Arena.


CLEVELAND, Ohio - Drivers in downtown Cleveland had to deal with a different kind of commuting problem Tuesday morning.

Elephants.

 

The animals are in town for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus that opens at Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday, and the elephants walked through the downtown streets starting at 6:30 a.m. to get to their temporary home inside the Q.

 

The Call & Post will have a contest to win tickets to the circus.

 

The Ringling Bros. Animal Walk started around 6:30 a.m. at the Muni Lot, and it went down East 9th Street to Bolivar and ended at Quicken Loans Arena.

The circus will be in Cleveland from Wednesday through Sunday, and tickets can be purchased online, at the Quicken Loans Box office (1-888-894-9424) or at any local Discount Drug Mart.
