Weather in Cleveland cause RTA delays
Due to bad weather conditions that cause downed power lines and trees, along with flooded roadways, have stalled some RTA bus lines throughout Cleveland.
Around 5 a.m., RTA officials said an overhead wire came down on the Red Line eastbound track, just east of the Brookpark Station, and left eight passengers stranded. The passengers were escorted off the train by RTA officials around 6 a.m.
RTA's Blue Line and Green Line are running smoothly.
Three stations are without power, E. 105th, E. 79th and W. 117th, but all are still operating.
"All buses are hampered by downed power lines, trees down, standing water and roads closed," said Jerry Masek, RTA's spokesperson.
