Warrensville Heights Opens Civic & Senior Center for Residents without Power

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS – The City of Warrensville Heights has extended the Civic & Senior Center hours of operation to accommodate residents in the city without power as a result of this week’s storm. The Civic & Senior Center, located at 4567 Green Road, will be open until 11:00 p.m. tonight, and will re-open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. to house residents throughout the day until power is restored.

 

In addition to the Warrensville Heights Civic & Senior Center serving as a warming center, The American Red Cross, City of Cleveland, and Cuyahoga County Office of Emergency Management are advising residents without power to seek shelter at the Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center located at 8611 Hough Avenue in Cleveland.

 

American Red Cross will provide food and cots for sleeping, and 24-hour security on site.
