CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are searching for evidence and suspects after a man in his 30s was shot and killed inside a home at 7027 Linwood Ave. near East 71st Street.

According to Cleveland police, Robert Brown, 36, was discovered by his roommate, who climbed through a second story window because he couldn't open a locked door.

Brown was shot twice in the stomach and two shell casings were found near his body on the floor, police said.

Investigators said they did not find a weapon, but they did locate drugs at the scene.

It also appeared that a card game may have been taking place at the time of the shooting.

Anyone with information on this shooting should call the Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit at 216-623-5464.
