CLEVELAND - A local Rite Aid store was robbed at gun point Friday night.

The robbery took place at the Rite Aid at 6512 Franklin in Cleveland.

Police say that the cashier was about to wait on a customer when the unknown male suspect jumped in front of the cashier and pointed a black revolver at him.

According to a police report, the suspect told the cashier “Just give me the money out of the register, I won’t shoot you, just give me the money.”

The report says the cashier took all the bills from the register and handed it to the armed suspect.

The cashier told police that the robber grabbed the money, dropped some, but picked it up before he left the store.

No one was hurt, and the suspect has not been caught.
