CLEVELAND - Police in Cleveland are investigating two separate robberies that happened on the city’s east side within minutes of each other.

 

The first holdup happened at the Hot Sauce Williams restaurant at East 79 th and Carnegie at 8:29 p.m. Friday. Cleveland police said two men wearing ski masks with guns entered the restaurant and demanded money. After getting cash, they ran from the business.

 

The second robbery happened at 8:36 p.m. at the BP Gas at East 49 th and Fleet. According to Cleveland police, a man wearing a brown coat with fur around the collar walked into the gas station, pulled out a handgun and robbed the store. This robber also ran from the store after getting money.
