Two people have already been arrested in connection with the crime.
CLEVELAND - An arrest warrant has been issued for the man suspected of shooting a 16-year-old boy Thursday afternoon.
The shooting happened in the 3800 block of West 38th Street at about 3 p.m.
Witnesses told police that a man got out of a gray Ford Taurus and started a fight with the victim before shooting his several times. The 16-year-old was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center and police said his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Now, officers are looking for 20-year-old Gregory Maddox, of Cleveland. Maddox is 5 foot 9 and weighs 160 pounds. According to Cleveland police, he was last seen driving away from the scene of the shooting.
Maddox is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call the Cleveland Division of Police Second District Vice Unit at 216-623-2719. Anonymous tips can be left with Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463.
