The men went through the teens’ pockets and took whatever cash they had, according to Cleveland police. One man fired several shots, hitting the 18-year-old in his leg.

An 18-year-old was shot in the leg when he and a 13-year-old were robbed Wednesday night.

The shooting happened at about 8:30 Wednesday near Dolloff Road and McBride Avenue in Cleveland.

Cleveland police said the two teens were walking to a nearby store, when two men told them to “grab the fence.” One of the robbers punched the 13-year-old, police said.

The men went through the teens’ pockets and took whatever cash they had, according to Cleveland police. One man fired several shots, hitting the 18-year-old in his leg.

The teen was taken to St. Vincent Charity Hospital.
