CLEVELAND - Reports of a person screaming in a car led police to Quigley Road and Clark Avenue where they found a woman locked inside her trunk Saturday.

The 23-year-old woman said she was leaving the clothing store Dots around 4:20 p.m. when she was approached from behind by a masked man and woman who put, what the victim thinks, was a gun to her back.

The victim told police that's when the carjackers went through her pockets and took $210, plus her welfare card. Then, she said they forced her into her backseat of her Monte Carlo and took off.

After driving for several minutes, the 23-year-old said the two pulled off on the highway to stuff her in the trunk before driving on.

Police said they found the vehicle parked off the side of Quigley Avenue, just south of Clark Road. They knocked on the trunk and when they heard a knock back, they broke into the vehicle via the driver's door windowto rescue the woman.

The victim was then taken to Metro where she was treated and released.

Descriptions of the two suspects are vague.
