Public’s help needed in locating a missing elderly male

 CLEVELAND – Michael McGrath, Chief of the Cleveland Division of Police, is asking for the public’s help in locating a male missing from the east-side of Cleveland.  Bobby V. Gardner 75, was reported missing by his niece who last saw him on April 29, 2012. Gardner is described as a black male 5’6”, 165 lbs., grey hair and brown eyes. Mr. Gardner is currently being treated for schizophrenia and dementia. It is unknown at this time if he has been taking his medication.   

 

Cleveland Police learned of Mr. Gardner’s missing status on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, when his niece went to visit him at his home and he was not there. Numerous checks with relatives and neighbors as well as area hospitals have failed to turn up any signs of Mr. Gardner.

 

Bobby V. Gardner was last seen on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at approximately 1:00 pm, at the Key Bank located at 2047 W. 25th Street riding a gold bicycle with a basket on the handlebars. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Cleveland Division of Police Third District Detective Bureau by phoning 216.623.3077.
