Woman walking in middle of the street: On May 27, about 4:18 in the morning, there were several calls from motorists that there was a suspicious looking woman walking in the middle of Mayfield Road near Vandemere.
Dog causing neighbors to feud: About 9:45 a.m., on May.27, a pissed-off resident in the 900 block of Montford Road called complaining about a neighbors dog who lives on the next street. There is an ongoing feud between the two household’s residents and both were advised this is a civil matter.
Parent harassing teacher at Monticelllo Middle School: On May 27 around 10:15 a.m., an employee at Monticello Middle School called and reported that a parent was there harassing a teacher about their child. Police came and put the parent out and told the parent “don’t come back.”
Juveniles smoking weed in the hallway: On May 27, at 11:02 a.m., a call came from Two Brother's Variety Store at Cedar & Lee Road, reporting that some kids were in the hallway and some sitting on the fire escape of the building smoking marijuana and refusing to leave. When police arrived the offenders were not there.
Leroy busted for driving under suspension: On May 27, at 3:15 p.m., a man name Leroy was busted near Coventry and Lancashire Road for driving while his operator’s license was under suspension. They towed Leroy’s car and took him to jail and booked him for DUS.
Husband violates protection order: Around 5:30 p.m., on May 27, a woman in the
2100 block of Cottage Grove Road, called and reported that there is an active temporary protection order (TPO) against her husband and he was outside of her home walking up and down the street.
A neighbor steals boy’s BB gun: On May 27, around 6:29 p.m., a parent called from the 3300 block of Berkley Road, and reported that “the boy down the street stole my son’s BB gun and my husband had just went and took it back.” A car was sent out to settle the dispute between the boys and their parents.
Old man touches young woman inappropriately: On May 27, about 8:30 p.m., a caller from the BP gas station at Mayfield and Warrensville Road, reported that while she was sitting at the bus stop a man in his 60s had inappropriately touched her and said some ornery things. She said the old man was wearing a dark blue jacket and khaki pants.
Thief stole her $4: On May 27, around 7:06 p.m., a mother in the 3200 block of Oak Road, called and reported that someone had taken $4 from her daughter’s purse. A police report was filed and the parent and child were satisfied.
Man arrested for flashing pistol: On May 27, around 8:16 p.m., a motorist at Chatfield Road reported that another man had driven by, flashed and stuck his pistol out of his car window. Police caught up with the bully and arrested him for aggravated menacing and towed his car.
Daddy and son fighting: On May 28, a call was received from the 14100 block of Superior Road about a father and his grown son who were in a fist fight. No weapons were reported, and a car was sent out to investigate.
Two thugs looking boys in the back yard: On May 28, around 9:30 p.m., a caller in the 1000 block of Inglewood Road reported that they looked out their window and saw two suspicious looking boys in their back yard. A car was sent out to investigate.
Girls in front of a house cursing: On May 28, around 9:43 p.m. a caller in the 1000 block of Nelaview Road reported that a group of young girls were causing a disturbance by using loud profanity out in front of the residents home.
Alarm, somebody in the kid’s garden: On May 28, at 9:28 p.m., an alarm company reported that there was someone in the kid’s garden at Canterbury Elementary School. A car was sent out to check out what was happening.
Alarm, somebody in the dining room: On May 29, at 2:30 in the morning, an alarm was received from a house in the 3300 block of Meadowbrook Road, alerting that someone had entered the dining room at the residence.
Father calls police on daughter and her boyfriend: On May 28, around 9:16 a.m., a father in the 1500 block of Maple Road, called and reported that his daughter and her boyfriend were causing a problem and to send the police.
Girl calls police on step-daddy: On May 29, around 3:15 p.m., a stepdaughter in the 3700 section of Lowell Road called and reported that her mama’s husband was causing her a problem. A unit was sent to investigate the matter.
Mother and daughter feuding: On May 29m about 11:23 a.m., a mother in the 3100 block of East Derbyshire Road called and reported that her grown daughter was there causing a problem and she wanted her removed.
Two cars in a wreck on the grave yard: On May 29, around 3:10p.m., a call came in from Lakeview cemetery on Mayfield Road that two cars had run into one another.
Stout woman tries to pass bogus check at Walmart: On May 29, at approximately 4:49 p.m., a short-stout woman tried to pass off a bogus check at Walmart in Severance Town Center. When the employee told the bandit that the check was phony, she ran out of the store and jumped into a blue Dodge minivan and took off. Police checked the area.
Man calls police on his baby’s mama, Shaquanda: On May 29, at approximately 4:09 p.m., a distraught father in the 1000 block of Selwyn Road called and reported that “his baby’s mama,” Shaquanda was there causing a problem and he wanted her removed. Police arrived and made the woman leave.
Car stuck in a ditch on Belvoir: On May 29, around 10:45 p.m., several concerned passing motorists called and reported that there was a car stuck deep down in a ditch on Belvoir Road. A unit was sent to investigate.
Two boys beat up by another with orange hair: On May 30, around 2:06 p.m., a car was flagged down by two boys who said that they had been beaten up by a boy with orange hair and another who was wearing a white tee shirt. Police check the area and found the suspects on Noble and Montevista Road. They were taken to CHPD.
Archie is asking folks for spare change: On May 30, a call came in from an employee at Noble Road Foods complaining that a man named Archie was out in front of the store again, asking folks for their “spare change.” Police arrived and made Archie leave.
Woman caught stealing refuses to leave store: On May 30, at approximately 6:09 p.m., a store clerk at United Dairy Farmers on Lee Road, caught a woman stealing and told her to put the stuff back and leave the store. The brazen thief would not put the merchandise back and refused to leave. When the police arrived the shoplifter was gone.
Dog won’t get out of woman’s yard: On May 30m at about 8:30 p.m., a woman in the 1600 block of Compton Road called and reported that there was a stray dog in her back yard and it wouldn’t leave. Animal control was sent out to remove the stubborn stray.
Somebody tried to break in the Rent-A-Center store: On May 31, around 8:45 a.m., a call was received from an opening manager that someone had tried to force their way into the Rent-A-Center store on Mayfield Road.
Disrespectful brats cursing at a baseball game: On May 31, at about 6:44 p.m., some aggravated grown folks at a baseball game at the Oxford Elementary School, on Quilliams Road called and reported that there were some very disrespectful kids cursing and causing a disturbance at the baseball game. The disrespectful brats were put out of the game.
