police_blotter_4_webChantal and Jeffery are fighting in the street: On July 11, at 8:51 p.m., a caller reported that a woman named Chantal and her boyfriend Jeffery were arguing and fighting again in the street near Superior and Forest View Road, “Somebody needs to stop them.”

 

Cleveland Heights 

I keep hearing spooky stuff: On July 11, around 3: a.m., a caller from one of the big old houses in the 2800 block on Fairmont Boulevard, reported that they keep hearing something that sounds strange and spooky, but they don’t know where it is coming from.   Police went out to investigate.

Chantal and Jeffery are fighting in the street: On July 11, at 8:51 p.m., a caller reported that a woman named Chantal and her boyfriend Jeffery were arguing and fighting again in the street near Superior and Forest View Road, “Somebody needs to stop them.”

The upstairs people are arguing with the downstairs people: July 11, at 10:53 a.m., a caller in the 1600 of Coventry Road reported that there is a serious argument going on between the folks who live upstairs with the people who live downstairs. A unit was sent out to check it out.

Crook strong-armed man in broad daylight: On July 11, around 11:30 in the afternoon, a man reported that a crook strong-armed him and took his wallet in broad daylight in the 1900 block of Taylor Road. The police are on the lookout for this brazen thug.

911 call reports mama and boyfriend are fighting: On July 11, at about 5:38 p.m., a kid in the 3700 block of E. Scarborough Road, called and reported that the mama and the boyfriend are fighting again.

Mother and 22 year old daughter are battling: On July 11, at 3:23 p.m., a caller from the 1000 block of Quilliams Road reported that her mother and her 22 year old sister are in a fight, and to send the police. A car was sent out.

They having a party and making way too much noise: On July 11, at about 10:15 p.m., a person in the 14600 block of Superior Road, called and reported that their neighbors are having a party and they making way too much noise. Police arrived the happy crowd was told to “take it inside.”

Dwayne knows he’s not supposed to be there: On July 13, around 10:24 a.m., a caller in the 3200 block of Meadowbrook Road, reported that a man named Dwayne is violating his (TPO) protection order and “He knows he ain’t supposed to be here.” The police rushed out to nab Dwayne.

Neighbor has 10 dogs in their yard: On July 13, at around 3:17 p.m., an angry caller from the 900 block of Cambridge Road, reported that the man next door has 10 dogs and all been barking for about the last 4 hours. A car was sent out and a complaint filed.

Drunk busted for driving too slow: On July 13, around 4:14 p.m., several calls were received from the Noble- Bluestone Road area, reporting that a man in a white truck was driving real slow and he looks like he’s drunk. Police caught up with the driver – Bingo!

An angry deer is chasing people: On July 13, at about 8:12 a cell phone caller reported that there is an aggressive deer in the neighborhood near, Monmouth and Stratford Road and he chasing people. A unit was sent out to check it out.

Woman’s baby’s daddy is arguing and raisin h---!: On July 12, around 1 in the morning, a woman in the 3500 block of Monticello Road, called and reported that her baby’s daddy just came in, and “he’s arguing and raising hell.” A car was sent out to investigate.

Employee caught stealing at Office Max: On July 12, around 2:20 p.m., a manager from Office Max called and reported that they had just busted an employee stealing and to send someone to pick him up.

Henry can’t ever go back to Grum’s Sandwiches store: On July 12, at 6:53 p.m., a fed up employee at Grum’s Carry Out on Coventry called and reported that an irate man was there causing a ruckus and to send the police. When police arrived they told a man named Henry that he can’t ever go back in that store again.

University Heights 

Man goes nuts and tosses girlfriend out the house: On July 1, around 3:01 p.m., a woman caller from the 3500 block of Raymont Blvd. reported that her boyfriend had told her to get out, but she wasn’t moving fast enough. He also believed that she had taken some of his stuff. He pushed and shoved her out of the door. She said, “He went nuts” and threw me out of the house. Police charged the man with domestic violence

Mr. Lively beats girlfriend over toilet accessibility: On July 3, around 11:59 p.m., there was a 911 call from a woman in the 13600 block of Cedar Road, who reported that her live-in boyfriend Mr. Lively had came to the bathroom door while she was using it and demanded to be let in. She first refused, but once he was in, he punched her in the mouth, twisted her arm and beat her. Police were called

Man using library computer caught with his pants down: On July 1, at 10:04 a.m., an employee at Library noticed that a male sitting at a computer monitor was acting very strange. As she approached him she saw his pants were down bellow his waist and one hand holding his private area. Police were called; he was caught and charged with Public indecency and Public exposure.

Thief steals small stuff from Mr. Small: On July 5, at 10: a.m., a man named

Mr. Small in the 3400 block of Tullamore Road, called and reported that a security camera recorded a thief breaking into in his and his wife’s, Ms. Porsche car and that several small items were taken.

Ex-wife’s boyfriend threatens husband: On July 5, around 10:30 a.m., a man and his brother who lives on Bromley Road, came into the UHPD and reported that there were several threatening and harassing messages left on his phone by a man that is associated with his ex-wife and he is threatening me and my brother.

Crook loots car as couple chows: On July 6, at about 3:30 p.m., a couple called that their car was broken into as they ate at Milt’s Restaurant on Taylor Road.

The woman said that the right front window of her car had been broken and thieves had ram shacked her purse and took $ 17.00. There were no witnesses.

Police catch Mr.Tualbee in big lie: On July 8, at 7:32 p.m., police caught a Cleveland man who was indentified as the culprit with “a big O’bushy afro,” who had just broken in to a garage on Silsby Road. When they questioned him he said that his friend “Rolo” lived there. When police took the liar back to house the people who lived there said that they did not know him. Busted!

Police nabs tennis shoe thief: On July 6, around 11:39 a.m., a man on E. Scarborough Road, reported that he had received a delivery schedule notice from Foot Locker for four pairs of tennis shoes, $ 242.00. He said he didn’t order them and that someone had frauduantly purchased the shoes with his credit card. Police took the notice went to the house where the shoes were to be delivered. Got-cha!

Moses caught stealing “again”: On July 10, around 3:30 p.m., a man name Moses was busted again at CVS on Cedar Road for stealing body wash products. Last week the same man was busted for stealing the same thing at the same place. When police searched Moses’ duffle bag they found some other stuff that he had stole from Whole Foods. This is also the same dummy that got caught with the 6 bags of shrimp last week. He just don’t get it?
