NAACP Delegation Travels to RNC and DNC to Advocate for National Civil Rights Agenda

NAACPlogoThe NAACP will lay out its policy agenda and how it intends to share these objectives with party officials at both conventions.

As Election Day approaches, the NAACP is working to ensure that the issues most important to the African American and civil rights communities are addressed by all the political candidates.  Many of these issues, including criminal justice reform, voting rights and ending predatory and discriminatory lending practices, have not been fully addressed by the thousands of candidates running for office across the country.

Leaders of the National and State NAACP will hold a phone press briefing to highlight its plans to advocate for a civil rights agenda while attending the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention in the upcoming weeks.  Speakers will discuss key topics they intend to address with delegates and leaders of each political party.

The NAACP will lay out its policy agenda and how it intends to share these objectives with party officials at both conventions.
