It's a New Year – don't look back

Go get your telephone book! Get your cell phone and pull up all the names and phones numbers of people in your caller ID. Look at the mail from friends you received letters from last year and receiving their letter was worst than receiving a bill.
That's what I said, "a bill." Individuals will write down their issues, mail them to you and expect you to mail them back all the solutions to their issues with them taking no responsibility for trying to do anything about their problems they created themselves.
First, I want each of you my readers to understand that if you keep looking back; most likely you'll want to go back. If you keep thinking about the past, most likely you'll end up living the past and never able to live in the present. Some people are so busy talking about yesterday's RAIN that they can't enjoy today's Sunshine!
Secondly, I want you to understand that in order to become the "NEW YOU," you have to let go of the "OLD YOU" – you can't have it both ways, as so many individuals try and do. But to let go of the OLD YOU, there are some things that you will have to put in place as this 2012 year unfolds. For some the process might take longer than others. This depends on how tired you are of the mess and madness of last year.
Ok, now go to your phone book and cell phone names and before you open it up say this prayer. "Lord, through your Grace and Mercy and your power, let me get rid of DEAD WEIGHT, DRAINING WEIGHT, and OTHER PEOPLE'S BAGGAGE WEIGHT. Lord, let me get rid of misery loves company weight. Lord, let me not hear other people's issues I cannot solve." Ooowee, we prayin’ – Ok now let's close this prayer out.
"And Lord, let me take SIX MONTHS TO MIND MY OWN BUSINESS, AND SIX MONTHS TO LEAVE OTHER PEOPLE'S BUSINESS ALONE. In the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen!”
Ok, now open up your phone book and your cell phone name list and start erasing and taking out all the names and phone numbers of those individuals that did nothing for you but drain you in some way, shape, or form last year. THAT'S RIGHT TAKE THEM OUT! I've already done this the last day of December this past Saturday, Dec. 31.
Remember, change is a process and the process starts NOW! Don't look back.
I must say this, if you study history for nothing else, study that you won't repeat the same mistakes. People, places and things can affect you, but that was last year. It's a NEW YEAR, so we won't look back.
Now that all those negative individuals are out of your cell phone and phone book, get them out of your mind and spirit and let's rehearse, because they will be calling you with a famous question. What will be their question? "Why have I not heard from you?" What will be your answer? I already have my "cut-throat" clear answer, if I even pick up their call. Ooowee!
I also want each of you to know that some people in life will NEVER CHANGE. Jesus came, worked, healed, died, rose and when he returns back some people will be the same, because of poor choices, always wondering why they get the messed up consequences.
Next, let go of negative people and simply tell them, if and when they call, that you don't hate them, you just love yourself and have no time for that drama. Also let go of people who don't want to hear about your dreams and don't want you to follow them. Let them GO! Remember, people too weak to follow their own dreams, will always find a way to discourage yours! They should be out of your phone book.
