The question I've been asking for the last several weeks in regards to those sagging pants is "cut throat" clear for all to wait and hear the answer. "How low can you go, will you go and have you gone in regards to sagging your pants?" The answer from a twenty year old male was, "As low as I have to sagg them if it's going to make you mad," he said laughing. This young male found joy in making individuals angry. What a way for this individual to feel important, huh?
Remember that old saying, “the truth will set you free?" Well those days are gone as everybody seems to want to be set free only if they don't have to hear the truth. In regards to sagging pants, I've educated each of my readers and many of you have educated many of the youth sagging with e-mails, letters, phone calls just to let me know that many of these same individuals are still sagging.

This teacher continues, "I'm afraid bishop for our youth."
In my soon to be released Gospel CD I share a song with a Rap Artist. He raps and I sing in my Gospel Singing style. The song is entitled, "Lord We Need You" and one of the powerful sentences in the song says, "The Ruin of a Nation started in the home, use to be a curfew for the children, now the parents gone." I read in a survey that 95% of males sagging have no father or male role model in the home. The article also stated that many sagging have not a clue what manhood is really all about. They stand for nothing, and fall for everything.
First, I want each of you my readers to know that sagging is deeper than what we see on the outside meaning the physical. Often by ones outward appearance it tells you a great deal about their mental state. When one feels good about themselves, they look good for themselves. Those sagging are well aware that as quickly as they pull their pants up a few seconds later they also know those same pants will fall back down. What do they do? They just pull them back up going through this process all day long. Many of these individuals have become meatheads meaning no brains. They can't even think right because all day long they are pulling up, holding up with one hand, walking as if something is between the crack of their butt just for starters.
Some say it's a fashion statement but I see it as a “Total Mess” statement.
The Word of God says in Proverbs 23:9 "Don't try and talk sense to a fool; he can't appreciate it." Those sagging know they look like a fool sagging yet have convinced themselves that in reality it's cool and acceptable to look like a fool. The supervisor told the twenty one year old male that if he would pull up his pants and tighten up his belt he could move faster in serving the customers. He responded, "I'm cool with keeping up my pace." The young man's pace was heading out the door at a faster pace as he was fired while on his lunch break. The supervisor stated in her e-mail to me "Bishop, he left out the door cussing yet still sagging. He just didn't get it."
Proverbs 22:6 states, "Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their life." We have a problem which is who is teaching our children? Because their is no teaching taking place in the home Negative Rap and Negative Hip Hop Artists, the elements of the Negative Community for starters have become the teachers for our children. What they see is who they be.
The last quote I want to refer to is taken also from the book of Proverbs the 13th chapter the 26th verse. "Keep company with the wise and you will become wise. If you make friends with stupid people, you will be ruined."
The young man that went to court on his sentencing day was looking at probation yet he went to court and stood before the Judge sagging. His lawyer advised the young man, "Pull up your pants before you enter the courtroom", but because he brought the "hood" to court with him, it was that same HOOD mental state that sent him to prison.
We see the sagging pants on the outside, but know today that there are Sagging Brains between the ears as well. Oh, just one more scripture quote from the book of Proverbs which reads in Chapter 15 verse 14, "Intelligent people want to learn, but stupid people are satisfied with ignorance." It's praying time for our youth. Lord Have Mercy!
