Bishop, my son is even behind bars don't think he did anything wrong stealing from someone that had nothing to do with who stole from him.
Youth gone crazy… the letters won't stop!
Bishop Moultry:
After trying to explain to my son, who is twenty-one years old, that he was wrong in what he did, I realized that many of the youth of today have totally gone crazy.
My son brought an expensive sound system to go in his car and when he went to his car the next morning it was broken into and the entire sound system pulled out. Whoever did this made a mess and tore up the inside of the car.
Bishop, that night he drove all around the area and found another system like the one he had and broke in the car and took it. I asked him why would he do this and his exact words were, “That's like, it is what it is.”
Well, my son is now at the County, in jail waiting for a court date for grand theft. The person who he took the system from found out and had a receipt, plus they tried to shoot my son and shots were fired in my house.
Bishop, my son is even behind bars don't think he did anything wrong stealing from someone that had nothing to do with who stole from him.
I know he was angry, but what he did was a crazy thing to do. Yes, our youth, including my son have gone crazy.
Just wanted to vent I guess.
Bishop Moultry:
I moved my son and daughter out of Cleveland and we're now in Pepper Pike, but they continue to visit the “hood” where all the trouble is. My husband told our son that he should meet positive people here in Pepper Pike and my daughter as well, but they say it's just too quiet around here.
Bishop, many kids are getting killed just ‘cause they are in the wrong place and bullets have no name. What are we to do? They both are over eighteen and both drive and have their own cars, so we can't make them not go visit in the “hood.”
I guess my point is that no matter what you tell the young people they still act like they have no sense when they know the right answer.
Thanks bishop and don't give up on the youth even if they are crazy.
Bishop:
How can positive youth stay positive in a negative environment? Negative youth get negative support by their gang peers as they all do the wrong things. My son when to another area to see his friend who moved on that side of town and my son got stabbed in the arm because he was told he was in an area that didn't like where he was from, after some thugs asked him where he lived. Bishop, my son almost lost his life. He didn't have a clue about this gang stuff until he encountered this situation.
Yes, our youth have gone crazy and it's the positive youth that will have to stand up and take over the negative youth, I think.
