Sunday Best - Audition and Casting Call 2012

Sunday_Best_webMusic was never a career goal for me. It was just something I turned to in order to get through the hard times in my life. With that being said, I do believe God is creating a path for me through music and I have to do my part and start walking. May God bless you readers and if you keep your faith in God you will never fail.

The 2012 Sunday Best season is on it’s way back, one of the best religious shows on television. People are dieing to find out when the next audition date for the new season of the Sunday Best gospel music competition is. BET is giving people to a chance to audition online for the Sunday Best Competition. There will only be two winners for the online competition. If you win you will still have to take a trip to the Atlanta auditions, but you get to skip the open call and will go directly to the callback round with the judges.
The show is hosted by Kirk Franklin and aims to find the “next Gospel Superstar.” Sunday Best features four judges who critique the contestants’ performances: gospel legends BeBe Winans, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary’s Erica Campbell and Tina Campbell, and Donnie McClurkin.
Contestants have started sending in their request. Hello my name is Cora Moore and I love to sing for the Lord. I have been singing since I were 10 years old. I was told that I should enter into Sunday Best so one day I heard they where coming into Detroit, Mi I was ready until that week of the audition I got sick and as the days got closer I got even sicker but I still tried to make it so when my husband and I went there we stood in line for about an hour I started getting light headed and sweat was drippin down my back I couldn't make it so I had to leave I was so upset but I knew if I would have stood there about another hour I would have fallen out. I just pray that oneday they come back down to Detroit, Mi. I believe and know that this is for me.
I think the Lord for this day and I pray all is well with whoever is reading this. I am a 20yr old Christian and I am auditioning because after much prayer God put it in my spirit. I am a musician at my church and I love ministering through music. A little over a year ago, God blessed me with the gift to write and sing my own music. I did not pursue it then because I wanted to finish school. Now God has made me realize that it is time to walk in my purpose. I have a burning desire for those who are not saved to be saved and I try my best to let my light shine bright. Every day I ask God to ordain my footsteps and become a blessing to someone. Working for God makes me happy and every day I try to be a better Christian.
Music was never a career goal for me. It was just something I turned to in order to get through the hard times in my life. With that being said, I do believe God is creating a path for me through music and I have to do my part and start walking. May God bless you readers and if you keep your faith in God you will never fail.
