Head out to the Cleveland Auto Show tonight.
Thursday, March 1, starts a full schedule of celebrity visits and family fun and entertainment at the Cleveland Auto Show. On Thursday, meet the Cavs’ Antawn Jamison in the Kia display from 4 to 5:00 p.m. Cleveland Browns Josh Cribbs and TJ Ward will be in the Chevrolet display from 6 to 8 p.m. Just next door, Cavaliers rookie sensations Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson will be in the Buick/GMC display from 6 to 8 p.m. as well.
On Friday, welcome OSU Football stars Daniel “Boom” Herron and DeVier Posey in the IGS Energy display from 6 to 8 p.m.
Saturday at noon, bring the kids by the Kia display to meet Cavalier’s Mascot Moondog. He’ll be there until 1 p.m. After that, head just up the aisle to the Hyundai booth to meet Browns’ Star Cornerback Joe Haden, who will be there from 1 to 3 p.m.
On Saturday, the winner of the Classic Car Competition, sponsored by the Ohio Technical College, will be chosen at 2 p.m. Car of the Show will win a first prize of $1,000.Five runners up will receive $200 each. Pennzoil will also award prizes.
Sunday, March 4, is the last day of the Cleveland Auto Show. From noon to 1 p.m., the Cavs’ Alonzo Gee will be in the Kia booth followed immediately by Head Coach Byron Scott, who will be there from 1 to 2 p.m. In the South Hall at the Dub Show Tour, meet UFC Fighter Stipe Miocic from 2 to 4 p.m.
While you’re at the Show this weekend, don’t forget to register to win the 2012 Ford Explorer XLT, the Truck of the Show and the Official Giveaway Vehicle. Each day of the Show since last Saturday, one finalist has been chosen. As of Thursday, March 1, there are only four finalist positions left.
On Sunday, March 4, all nine finalists are invited back for the Official Vehicle Giveaway at 4:30 p.m. Each will be given a key, and the key that unlocks the door of the Explorer XLT wins the vehicle as the Grand Prize. A second drawing for First Prize will also be held, with the winner awarded one year’s worth of natural gas for the home, courtesy of IGS Energy.
Of course, the cars are still the stars at the Cleveland Auto Show. In addition to more than 1,000 new production and concept vehicles on the floor, you can also take a test drive. This coming weekend, the 2012 Cleveland Auto Show will host six Ride-N-Drive events, providing access to ten major brands. Among the brands offering Ride-N-Drive events are Buick, Chevy, Chrysler, Dodge,

The Cleveland Auto Show runs through Sunday, March 4, at the I-X Center in Cleveland. Tickets are $12.50 for adults and $10.50 for seniors and preteens. Children six and under get in free.
