The Cleveland Cavaliers win big with the young team. The Cavs are back at .500 thanks to a big night from their young back court, as they
beat the Los Angeles Clippers, 108-101.
Rookie Dion Waiters hit seven 3-pointers while leading the Cavs (2-2) with 28 points.
Kyrie Irving chipped in 24 points to help the Wine and Gold notch their first road victory of the season.
The Clippers tied the game at 94 with just over four minutes to play, before Waiters hit a pair of long-range shots to help the Cavs maintain control.
Irving sealed the win with a three-pointer with 28 seconds to play.
Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 20 points, while Chris Paul added 17 points and nine assists.
The Cavaliers return to action Wednesday night, when they take on the Golden State Warriors in Oakland at 10:30 p.m.
