Don King advocates for justice at Corey Jones rally

Indefatigable advocate for peace and women’s rights and Call & Post Publisher Don King challenged America to change the evil MISGUIDED WAY OF LIFE SYSTEM responsible for the death of Florida victim Corey Jones in Palm Beach Gardens on Oct. 18th. King led

Jones is the most recent Black killed by police, when a plainclothes police officer gunned him down in Palm Beach Gardens last week.

King led a community rally in honor of Jones at the Hilltop Baptist Church in Riviera Beach.

"While I am very saddened, very sorrowful, I must say that I'm not surprised," King said.

King explained the death of Jones was a direct result of the system, one that consists of white superiority, gender inferiority, color inferiority, hatred, discrimination, divisiveness, pride and privilege, bigotry, bias and prejudice.

“I go further in the name of God I humbly pray for the family of another victim of our EVIL MISGUIDED WAY OF LIFE SYSTEM,” King stated.

Referring to our late great President John F. Kennedy, King recalled a powerful quote.

"Now is the time for this nation to live up to its promise," he said. "Now is the time."

King was joined at the rally by Riviera Beach Mayor Thomas Masters and close to an estimated 1,000 people attended.

A way of life has taken its strife, killing a fellow American lad in the community, taking his life, murder with impunity, especially color, Black life is worthless according to this EVIL MISGUIDED WAY OF LIFE SYSTEM.

“With us the two great divisions of society are not the rich and the poor, but white and black, and all the former, the poor as well as the rich, belong to the upper class, and are respected and treated as equals, if honest and industrious, and hence have a position and pride of character of which neither poverty nor misfortune can deprive them.”- John C. Calhoun (March 18, 1782 – March 31, 1850), an American politician from South Carolina during the first half of the 19th century.

“The American Government, while exalting freedom, liberty, justice and equality, persisted in the exaction complained of denial of God given rights, violations of human rights, judged by the evil Misguided Way of Life System,” King stated.

"Our problems, you're making them everybody's problems," said Jones' grandfather, Bishop Sylvester Banks.

A GoFundMe account (www.gofundme.com/justiceforcorey) has been set up to help the family pay for funeral expenses. King donated $10,000 to the family.
