The Big Blow to Rigged System
“A power has risen up in the government greater than the people themselves, consisting of many and various and powerful interests, combined into one mass, and held together by the cohesive power of the vast surplus in the banks.”
That is the system that we are living by today and that is the system that President- elect Donald J. Trump is vowing to change.
The day following the historical ‘NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER’ election Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton conceded defeat in a hard fought election to Republican candidate Donald J. Trump.
“Last night, I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country,” Clinton said later Wednesday in her concession. “I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans. This is not the outcome we wanted or we worked so hard for, and I’m sorry that we did not win this election for the values we share and the vision we hold for our country.”
This was after all of the pundits had predicted a sure-fire victory for Clinton. Trump had shocked the political establishment and the world with his unforeseen landslide victory.
Thus it was anticipated that Clinton would join with the American people and calling for a unified nation, but instead she has since decided to call for recounts in key states which if event were overturn in her favor would not be enough for her to overcome the insurmountable 302 electoral votes accumulated by Trump.
Clinton is now undermining the same democratic process that she has steadfastly defended when it was assumed that she would win.
