1. Massillon Jackson (17-1) the Polar Bears beat Uniontown Lake 69-48. The Polar Bears host No. 9 St. Vincent – St. Mary on Friday.
2. Lorain (17-2) the Titans beat Shaw 93-48 to clinch their second straight Lake Erie League title. The Titans (8-0 LEL) visit Bedford (2-16), who have lost 15 in a row, Friday.
3. Archbishop Hoban (16-2) beat Lake Catholic 76-59 to take the North Coast League – Blue Division title. The Knights host Padua on Friday.
4. St. Ignatius (14-4) the Wildcats beat Solon 90-80 for their sixth straight victory. The Wildcats host Massillon Washington on Friday.
5. St. Edward (13-5) the Eagles lost to No. 4 St. Ignatius 75-72 in overtime. The Eagles will host John F. Kennedy on Friday.
6. Garfield Heights (15-4) the Bulldogs beat Lutheran East 65-52. The Bulldogs will battle MLK, today.
7. Holy Name (16-3) the Green Wave lost to Cleveland Central Catholic 89-67. The Green Wave will visit Normandy on Friday.
8. Brush (16-3) the Arcs beat Kenston 70-57 to clinch at least a share of the Western Reserve Conference title. The Arcs visited Eastlake North (1-16) on Tuesday.
9. St. Vincent – St. Mary (13-4) the Irish edged No. 3 Archbishop Hoban 59-57. The Irish host VASJ, today and visit No. 1 Massillon Jackson on Friday.
10. Elyria (14-3) the Pioneers beat Medina 68-55 to take control of the rugged Greater Cleveland Conference. The Pioneers (8-2) will visit No. 14 Mentor (9-3) on Friday.
11. East Tech (15-5) The Golden Scarabs edged Warrensville Heights 53-50. The Golden Scarabs, champs of the Senate, will visit Lutheran East on Friday.
12. Benedictine (15-4) beat University School 80-53. The Bengals, winners of their last three, will host Lake Catholic on Friday.
13. Maple Heights (14-3) the Mustangs edged Cleveland Heights 87-85. The Mustangs visit Shaw on Friday.
14. Mentor (13-5) the Cardinals beat Glenville 62-39. The Cardinals battle No. 10 Elyria on Friday.
15. Cornerstone Christian (15-4) the Patriots beat Harvey 88-55. The Patriots, the defending D-IV champs, visit No. 14 Mentor on Feb. 20.
Girls’ Top Ten
1. Solon (18-2) the Comets beat Strongsville 72-49. The Comets, who have won 12 straight and the Greater Cleveland Conference title, visit Mentor today.
2. Elyria Catholic (19-2) the Panthers edged Massillon Washington 52-49. The Panthers host Clearview in the first-round of the sectionals on Saturday.
3. St. Joseph Academy (19-3) the Jags beat East Tech 56-41. The Jags visit Berea-Midpark, today.
4. Gilmour (16-5) the Lancers beat John Hay 84-38. The Lancers host WRA on Thursday.
5. GlenOak (20-1) the Golden Eagles, the top-seed in the D-I Canton District will host Green or Ellet on Feb. 23.
6. Brush (19-3) the Arcs, the champs of the Western Reserve Conference, will host Chardon (16-5) or Madison (8-14) on Feb. 23.
7. Padua (15-4) the Bruins lost to No. 3 St. Joseph Academy 52-44. The Bruins visit Lake Catholic on Thursday for a shot at the North Coast League – Blue Division Title.
8. Berea-Midpark (19-2) the Titans beat Avon Lake 57-34 to clinch the Southwestern Conference title. The Titans host No. 3 St. Joseph Academy, today.
9. Perry (20-1) the Pirates edge Beachwood 31-28. The Pirates, the top-seed in the D-II Ashtabula District will host the winner of VASJ/Edgewood on Feb. 23.
10. Eastlake North (17-4) the Rangers, the fourth-seed in the D-I Perry District, will host Kenston (9-12)/Mayfield (10-10) on Feb. 23.
