LeBron’s 45 guns downs Pacers

LeBron James drives for two of his 45 points in a game 7 victory over the Pacers.

From now until his glorious career is done, LeBron James will have bench marks in front of them and in a doe or die Game 7 on Sunday its was NBA hall of Famer Scotty Pippen who he eclipsed with a history making 396th postseason steal, for the most steals in playoff history.

However, what mattered most to the greatest basketball player on the planet was that the Cavs survived the pesky Pacers 105-101 to advance to the Eastern Conference semi-finals against the top seed Toronto Raptors.

For the first time all post season, the Cavs faithful crowd at Quicken Loans Arena was electric and the had better be as the Cavs tested their every fiber and nerves with the fate of the LeBron’s offseason hanging in the balance.

James left the game late in the third quarter and did not return until the 8 minute mark, but by that time Kevin Love had found his stroke and the return of George Hill had provided the Cavs with a cushion it would never relinquish.

The Cavs did want to hear anything about the Raptors after surviving a 30 blast from emerging star Victor Oladipo and 23 from veteran journeyman Darren Collision.

LeBron remained undefeated in first round playoff series, the Cavs fans celebrated and coach Tyron Lue exhaled because their mettle gets tested to the core when they fly north to face DeMar Derozan and the Raptors.
