Celebrating of the life of Mr. Raymond Pointer

Tuesday, October 9, 2018 hundreds gathered at the Word Church to celebrate the life of Cleveland Native, Mr. Raymond Pointer. In memory of a life well lived, people gathered from all walks of life in one place for one purpose, to bid farewell to Raymond Pointer.

Raymond the son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and much more to so many will not be forgotten. Many who did not know him personally, knew him as Cleveland’s Cadillac salesman who did more than sell, he served his customers with an infectious spirit that affected everyone who came in contact with him. Raymond became the salesman of the month, and the year even with regional recognitions. True to all good salespersons, Raymond had a slogan that said, “see Ray and drive today.” My friend and brother, Raymond Pointer will be missed, on a personal note during one of my greatest trials, Ray editorialize his whole life in a conversation, that encouraged me to go on... As I listened to Alex Parks, General Manager of Cresmont Cadillac speak about Ray being more than a salesman to his company moved me in a special way. To witness Ray's children say he was a real man and their best friend, the emotion was electrifying. To hear his sister Min. Yvonne Pointer, say as she Eulogized her brother that he accepted Christ, touched my heart.

We salute and offer our sincere prayers to his family. We pray for their strength, guidance and comfort. Paul’s words were simple and direct when he said, “For we know that if our earthly house were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Cor. 5:1,

We salute the family of our Bro. and friend as we pray for their guidance and comfort.
