President Trump personifies the truth of that slogan. He is illustrating and demonstrating to the American people the awesome power of TRUTH, when you keep your word and promises. Lies, like foam in the waters of the ocean will wash away, but truth with purpose will last forever. “What spectacle can be more edifying or more seasonable, than that of liberty & learning, each leaning on the other for their mutual & surest support?” President James Madison President Trump is fighting the corrupt system for ‘We the Peo

Cavs revamping Cleveland gyms

The Cleveland Cavaliers have delivered more than $42 million in community, civic and charitable funding over the last 20+ years. In fitting with that theme, the organization recently announced it would refurbish the gymnasium floors in all Cleveland Metropolitan School District’s (CMSD) high schools as well as the 22 gymnasium floors in various city recreation centers. This is the latest in a string of investments the Cavaliers organization has made in Cleveland, including to improve the quality of life for Cleveland’s youth. They have a track-record of supporting local organizations that make a significant impact on the community, including (but not limited to): 〈 Boys & Girls Club of Cleve

Cavs eye Billups for front office post

After parting ways with General Manager David Griffin, the Cleveland Cavaliers have met with former All Star and NBA champion guard Chauncey Billups for a major role in the front office. Rumors circulated during the NBA playoffs that Griffin was a leading candidate to join the Orlando Magic, but that position was ultimately filled while he remained with the team during their failed title repeat. According to multiple reports Grffin did not want to stay nor was he offered a contract extension by owner Dan Gilbert. His contract with the team expires on June 30 and the timing of his departure right before the NBA draft and a swirl of speculation on the direction of the team. The Cavs lost the

The Call & Post spoke to Bryant’s father on the one year anniversary of her disappearance and there was still fleeting hope that his daughter was alive somewhere. However, his worst fear and that of her mother, family and friends was realized on Tuesday June 20, two years after she was reported missing when the FBI's Cleveland office along with Middleburg Heights police reported a major break in in the case. Now the time has come for this nation to fulfill its promise… The remarkable, ingenious – corrupt system is the enemy of ‘We the People,’ the American people…not President Donald J. Trump!!! President Trump is calling for a whole new system. He is the voice and the leader of the people’s rejection of the current corrupt and rigged establishment form of tyranny and despotism government. The expert pundits, politicians, elite party bosses, bias media and the polls can no longer predict the outcome of the elections. “The power under the Constitution will always be in the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choo

Cosby judge declares mistrial as jury deadlocks again

(AP Photo/Matt Rourke) NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) -- Bill Cosby's trial on sexual assault charges ended without a verdict Saturday after jurors failed to reach a unanimous decision in a case that helped destroy the 79-year-old comedian's image as "America's Dad." Jurors deliberated more than 52 hours over six days before telling a judge they couldn't agree on whether "The Cosby Show" star drugged and molested Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. The judge then declared a mistrial. Prosecu

Now the time has come for this nation to fulfill its promise… “These are the times that try men’s souls.” Thomas Paine Donald Trump, an outsider – non politician becoming president of the United States of America is simply phenomenal. From the streets to the Oval Office…president without ever being elected to any public office, is a spiritual tribute to our form of democracy. However, unfortunately, while these blessings of liberty’s profound phenomenal tributes of self-governing democracy are taking place and should be exalted to the highest heavens, they are being met with sarcasm, contempt, disdain and dismay. Why? Because the evil, corrupt and rigged system hates President Donald J. Tru

Top high school teams invade the Word Church

How do high school teams win the state titles? They play in summer leagues. The best summer league program has been the Earl Boykins High School Summer League at the Word Church on Miles. This summer the league has gotten even hotter. Lorain Titans won the tournament last year. They will try to repeat. However, standing in their way are teams like Akron St. Vincent – St. Mary. SVSM won the D-II state title last winter. Dru Joyce’s team will be loaded again. Garfield Heights, Brush, Shaker Heights and Cleveland Central Catholic will try to dethrone the Titans. Other teams that are playing are: Glenville, Barberton, Lakewood, Maple Heights, Kenston, Lutheran East (D-IV state champs), Shaw, Uni

What’s next for Cavs ?

As gold Cristal was soaking the Golden State Warriors in their locker room at Oracle Arena in Oakland the Cleveland Cavaliers were breaking down in tears of sorrow after losing game five 129-120, and the series 4-1 in The Finals. There would be no miracle this time as star guard Kyrie Irving’s surgically repaired knee began to ache, his back tightening and their grip on their one NBA championship loosening, it was over. For LeBron James the harsh reality didn’t settle in until the final minute, he had left it all on the court becoming the first player in NBA history to average a triple-double in The Finals (33.6 points, 12.0 rebounds and 10.0 assists). Coach Ty Lue couldn’t even muster up t

Cavs go down fighting

LeBron James 41 points wasn’t enough to offset another brilliant performance from Kevin Durant who earned Finals MVP with his fifth 30 point game and the Golden State Warriors captured their second NBA championship in three years with a 129-120 victory over Cleveland in Oakland, winning the series 4-1. Steph Curry added 34 to over shadow a 26 points from Kyrie Irving and a dynamic 25 point outburst from JR Smith. All the focus will now be squarely pointed at Kevin Love who disappeared again when the Cavs needed him most. Love finished with an abysmal 6 points in 30 minutes. Now, as the Cavs go into the off season with James entering into the final year of his contract, the speculation will m

Alive for 5

CLEVELAND – LeBron James passed Michael Jordan as the No. 1 all-time playoff scorer last month and tonite he eclipsed Jordan for third place on the all-time NBA Finals scoring list. James passed Jordan (1,176 points) with his first bucket in Game 4 on Friday night against the Golden State Warriors, an and-1 layup with 9:56 left in the first quarter. James set the mark in his 44th career Finals game; Jordan played 35. Cavs smashed the Finals points mark for a quarter and first half with 49 and 86, respectively, on their way to scorching the Warriors 137-116 to stave off elimination in the best of seven series which shifts to Oakland on Monday. James detailed his reverence for Jordan when he p

Cavs will need a miracleUntitled

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving spilled their guts on the Quicken Loans Arena court Wednesday before another heart-throbbing, wine-T-shirt wearing crowd, but it still was not enough to overcome the undefeated Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of The Finals. James would finish just shy of yet another triple-double and a game high 39 points, Irving poured in 38, that X-factor for the Warriors, Kevin Durant took over late in the fourth quarter, including the go-ahead drive and score and the coffin sealing free throws in the final seconds and the Warriors held on for a 118-113 victory. It was their 11 consecutive in the post season, and more importantly moved them within one game of their second tit

Mayor Blackwell defines Maple Hts.

Mayor Annette Blackwell It’s been more than 16 months since Annette Blackwell became the first African American and woman mayor in the history of Maple Heights, a suburb just south of Cleveland of roughly 23,000 residents. Mayor Blackwell’s victory was shocking in that she had never held public office before and was facing insurmountable odds as an outsider candidate and being Black and female. However, those odds not withstanding she won, not just to become mayor but also win the hearts and souls of its residents. Among Maple Heights many challenges was the city’s fiscal emergency, declining economic base, closed businesses, foreclosed homes and a 2016 deficit of $2.7 million. Mayor Blackw

Cavs plight calls for desperate measures

Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert has been one of the lone bright spots for the Cavs reserves and the wild card might be Derrick Williams, especially since one of the other reserves are do much anyway. The defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers will make their home Finals debut this week, having lost the first two games in Oakland by an average of 21 points. Many of the so-called experts have buried LeBron James and his teammates and are already anointing Kevin Durant as the best player in the world. They say there is no way the Cavs will come back this time. Not against Steph Curry, Durant, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and coach Steve Kerr. This should not come as any surprise to Cleveland

Now the time has come for this nation to fulfill its promise… The CORRUPT SYSTEM is the enemy of America, not Donald J. Trump! President Andrew Jackson called out the government and described the corruption that was taking place in 1832. President Donald J. Trump is challenging, calling out and describing the form of corruption in government which is taking place today in 2017. These two giant presidents were and are, both collectively fighting the same disease, a corrupt system of white supremacy and control which denied the will of the people their inalienable rights. And at the same time, denied the will of the people their full citizenship rights which the new government was formed to p
